We understand that as an adult you are busy and your time is valuable. We simply encourage you to make three significant connections, one to GET CONNECTED, one to GROW, and one to GO. We’ll explain… START HERE! - Our adult SS is designed to provide you with a place where you can fit in, or belong. Some call it community, but whatever you call it, this is the place where people know your name and care about you. Adult SS classes provide you with spiritual friendships, accountability, fellowship, and care. Combined with weekly, good Bible centered content, Sunday school offers you a great place to start and sustain your spiritual journey at HBC. Our church calendar is sprinkled with GROW event opportunities. Grow opportunities include our Wednesday Night Impact Groups, Men’s and Ladies’ ministries, athletic events, and more. These opportunities are communicated through the church newsletter and weekly bulletin throughout the year. We believe that every adult believer has a responsibility to build up the Body (Eph 4:11-12) and HBC has a variety of ways to get involved doing just that. We are committed to helping you find the place ‘where you fit’. We’ll gladly take time to talk to you about it, and we even offer a class that assists you in determining your best service ministry match. With ministries that focus on serving, both inside and outside the church, you are sure to find a place to serve that matches your unique gifting! |
